ITINERARY

This will be your best chance to interact with Buddhist monks and learn more about the practice of Buddhism in Cambodia and participate the good luck blessing ceremony. The monk will chant the blessing and sprinkle the holy water on and over you then fasten the sacred thread bracelet around your wrist which the locals believe to protect you from the bad spirits and brings you the prosperity and luck.
Pick up time is 9 am from your hotel lobby by our experience English speaking tour guide and Tuk Tuk driver. After the monk blessings we make the visit to the Artisans’d Angkor that was set up since 1992 to provide job opportunities for the Cambodian young adults. There are several workshops such as stone carving workshop, wooden carving workshop, silver plating workshop, silk painting workshop, lacquering workshop, jewelry workshop …etc. The local expert will show you around and provide you a better understanding of how it work. You also have chance to do the shopping there if you wish. The last visit will be the Old market, the famous market for both and locals. There are food stands, fish market, vegetables, fruits, clothes, household goods, jewelry, souvenir …pretty much everything you can shop in this town is in this very market and the surrounding streets.
