Itinerary Details

 

Day 1 - Airport Pick up Service and Street Food Tour

Upon arriving the Siem Reap airport and got through the customs, our tour guide and driver will be waiting to welcome to welcome you on the outside with a signboard written your name on it. They will assist you and transfer you to the hotel, check in and have a little rest.
This evening you will enjoy the taste of Khmer street food with tuk tuk tour  venturing through the hustling bustling street to the biggest local night market in Siem Reap where there are thousands of vendors and  food stands all around provide you to taste a seemingly endless variety of local unusual foods, snacks, grilled bugs, tarantulas …etc which provide a spectacular diverse flavor, shapes and looks. Into the night we will be continue to the pub street area by stopping at the local grill stands enjoying more local foods and drinks that all are freshly prepared then stroll through pub street and tourist night markets to do some shopping if you wish before getting to the last stop at Ms Wong Bar to enjoy another drink each. 
Head back to the hotel after but in case you wish to spend more time there to explore more please feel free to let your tour guide know as there hundreds of tuk tuks are available.

Day 2 - Rolous Group Exploring and Tonle Sap Kayaking

Today we set out an early start with a transfer to the Rolous group temples, the ancient site of the Khmer civilization known as Hariharalaya the city of Lord Vishnu and Shiva which was constructed in 9th century AD consists of several temples included three main temples : Phreah Koh (879Ad), Bakong (881) and Lolei (893). These 3 temples were dedicated to Shiva and the royal ancestors.
Next you will be transferred to the bank of the lake, the Southeastern Asian’s largest fresh water lake with it tremendously size changing depends on the season as normally it swells up to five times during the wet season. We kayak through the lake flood plain and the flooded forests, over the paddy field and into the villages, Market and Buddhist temples until we get to a finishing point at a local family where we will enjoy our lunch freshly prepared. After lunch we transfer back to our vehicle and head to the hotel where you can relax, freshen up and ready for the circus.

Day 3 - Angkor Complex by Pedaling

Early set out directly from the hotel to explore the ancient ruins by peddling through dense jungle of Angkor national park with the first stop at Ta Phrom temple also known as Tomb Raider from which the Tomb Raider was filmed there. The temple was constructed during the reign of Jayavaraman 7th and commemorated to his father in 1186 AD. Ta Phrom is the most picturesque temple with many large trees overgrown hanging its roots through the cracks and gaps of the building. This site was once the resident of over twelve thousands people  included high ranking monks, official and assistants. We peddle back into the jungle through the hidden tracks and passages to Ta Nei another big ruin with so many crumbling rocks scattered on the ground. We carry on to Phreah Khan, the largest flat temple in Angkor complex which dedicated to Jayavarman’s father names Dhoranindra Varman in 1191AD and is also reclaimed by nature after it was abandoned in 1400s. After exploring this, walk back to the bike and continue our peddling to Angkor Thom city which was the largest and the last capital city under the ruler Jayavarman 7th. The city itself is enclosed by the laterite wall 12 square kms in perimeters and surrounded by moat that would probably inhabited by crocodiles to protect the city. There are five entry gates with causeways flanked by statues of 54 gods and 54 demons holding Naga where as the the gate itself are topped with the gigantic living Buddha faces. Keep cycling inward until you get to the leper king terrace and elephant terrace then continue to Bayon, the main temple in this city. This 12th century master piece is well-known for it grandeur towers decorated with enigmatic faces of Lokesvara and other gods. The temple once was housed a 3.6 meter tall seated Buddha statue. After lunch break we exlore Angkor Wat which the 8th Wonder of the world 
Enter the finest and largest temple from the  causeway through the moat until you get to an edge of one of the ancient library pools which is the best spot for taking the photo of the building and  its stunning reflection on the water  before hopping into the interior of the main Temple, creeping along apart of hoary cloistered corridors then crawling up a steep stair after viewing some of the magnificent bas reliefs stretching along the galleries. And hearing your local expert deciphered the myriad of myths and stories behind it. After  exploring this main structure included Bakan the upper terrace, Buddha chamber corridors then out walk all the way back out to the bike and peddle home freshen up and ready for the dinner and Apsara cultural dancing show.

Day 4 - Trekking and Camping on the Sacred Mountain of Phnom Kulen

Today after you had your breakfast,  we transfer to the foot of the holy mountain . Upon arriving you enjoy a nice and easy climb with hundreds of concrete stows to get to a beautiful Buddhist temple overlooking the scenic valley and farming land down below and after a brief visit the temple with the spring water, carry on our journey of climbing until we get to the top of the mountain then keep walking through the beautiful shady jungle till we get to the thousand Linga river where there are thousands of small Lingam carvings carved into the bed of the river since 800s Ad during the reign of Jayavarman 2th who used this mountain to be the headquarter for establishing his new religious cult known as Devaraja or God King cult. This site is considered as the birthplace of the Khmer empire and is still a sacred site for Cambodian today. After observing this we move on to the topmost where a huge reclining Buddha statue carved out of a single block of sandstone since 16t Ad rendered a breathtaking view. After we do our last trekking for today all the way down to the waterfall to enjoy our swimming and lunch along the river.
In the evening enjoy the BBQ dinner by the river with the sound of night wild lives and looking to the beautiful shinny stars above.

Day 5 - Cooking Class

Get up early to enjoy a refreshing air and have your breakfast by the camp then explore the local market up there,  doing some fresh meat and vegetable shopping with the local chef for the cooking class where you will learn how to make your own lunch today.
Later transfer back to town. Free at leisure

Day 6 - Flight Home

After checking out, your tour guide and driver will assist you to the airport.
